Daddy Do It!

“I hope it’s just a phase.” I repeat this statement over and over to myself all day long. The reason? Joseph doesn’t let me do anything for him anymore; he only wants his daddy to do it. It is just a phase? Should I insist on doing things like get him dressed when he is screaming for someone else? What should I do?

It’s amazing how many books out there tell you how to easy it can be to raise a toddler. So all I have to do is think of my toddler as a neanderthal and that’s how I can prevent temper tantrums? Say what?

I hope this blog becomes a place for all of us parents to share tips and advice with each other. I wanted to start this blog so that other parents could share their experiences and knowledge with me. I’ve received so much great advice from other parents so I hope this blog is helpful to others as well.

So please share your advice with me and comment as often as you can. I’ve learned that the advice I’ve received from these books are nothing compared with the advice from other parents. And trust me: I need all the help I can get!
